The "Hey Bebe Experience Chef Joe" is from New Orleans Louisiana and graduated from the Culinary institute of America in Hyde Park New York. Chef Joe has thirty years of culinary experience ranging from free standing restaurants, national hotel chains as well as a private chef on luxury motor yachts. Chef Joe has lived in Helena for 19 years and is married to his wife Kathy for twenty years. Chef also has a son Joey who helps on the food truck working side by side with his dad!
My mother (Anna Mae) and father (Leo) were the primary reason for me going into culinary arts. Working with my daddy in the po boy shop and arcade when I was 12 taught me hard work and a quality product was the best business model. Pair that with a large Italian family every weekend were surrounded by food and family! My Mothers mom "Mamie" made the Boululatta for her family of 6 on a regular basis and her Italian bread recipe is still used on the Hey Bebe food truck today.
